About Us

Aloha, and welcome to the Hawaiian Electric Employees Federal Credit Union – a not-for-profit financial cooperative. It was in the spirit of “people helping people” that the credit union was founded in 1937 by 15 employees of Hawaiian Electric Company who pooled together $70.00 of their money. Today, that same spirit of “people helping people” has grown to serve over 1,800 members company-wide.

Hawaiian Electric Employees Federal Credit Union pledges to continue its spirit of enthusiasm and commitment by offering the best possible products and services to its members and maintaining customer satisfaction and convenience.
